    Worked as a Consultant to the European product development center in Rotterdam (and Brussels) during the year 2000, right in the middle of the dot-com mayhem.

    Only couple of months after being fully trained by S1, the US based company decided to shutdown all their European operations due to the dotcom meltdown. All European employees were effectively terminated.

    At the height of the dotcom bubble, S1 stock price was at 129 USD (Nasdaq: SONE). When EU operations were shutdown at the end of the year 2000, the stock price stood at 5 USD.

    Personally and professionally this was a very intense period, nevertheless, it was a good experience to witness such a key moment in the history of tech from within one of the leading Internet companies.
